Effective protection from UAS in tactical environment.
Drones are becoming cheaper and easier to use. This contributes to their massive usage, however, with capabilities to carry harmful payloads, they constitute a significant security threat for personnel and the equipment. In order to increase the protection of it’s troops and assets, Ministry of Defense of the Republic of North Macedonia opted for tactical solution from one of the industry leaders DroneSheld, which was provided and implemented by NETRA.
The tactical system was successfully tested against various types of remote controlled and autonomous drones proving it’s effectiveness and distance in which targets can be neutralized. Targeted drones immediately stopped sending video signal, and either returned to the point of origin, exposing the location of the drone pilot, or in most cases were successfully landed allowing for safe destruction or forensic analysis.
